Although the use of Social Media provides many benefits, it also comes with a lot of risks that can affect people not only on a personal level, but also on a business or professional level. Therefore, the aim of this research is to conduct an in-depth analysis of Business and Professional Risks based on real-life incidents in order to find out when and how a risk occurs, who the responsible and affected stakeholders are and what could be potential consequences. This work builds on and extends the FG EIM’s earlier work on Business and Professional Risks of Social Media.
